EON sets up landmark Training Centre in Temasek Engineering School

Temasek Polytechnic and PC-based interactive 3D software pioneer, EON Realty Inc (USA) cemented their partnership with two agreements signed by Dr N Varaprasad, Temasek Polytechnic's founding Principal, and Mr Mats Johansson, President of EON Reality Inc, on 15 Nov '01 in the Polytechnic Board Room. The MOU has made Temasek Engineering School the first EON authorised training centre in the Asia-Pacific region. The School is also licensed to use EON technology such as the EON Studio Base Course for creating 3D content for training, marketing and architecture applications. The School has in turn given EON Realty a licence to use its software called the Virtual Object Library Universal Management Environment (VOLUME). VOLUME is a repository system for 3D objects that allows users to locate 3D objects, preview and manipulate them from a normal browser over the Internet.
