Temasek Engineering School and the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) has launched
a historic IES Student Chapter -- the first in any Polytechnic in Singapore.

This is part of the Polytechnic's continuing effort to provide its graduates with
a value-added Diploma, so that YOU can get a head-start in you career!

All Engineering students in Temasek Polytechnic will:

  1. automatically be members of the IES during their course in Temasek Poly, at no cost.
  2. get free IES magazines & publications to enhance their engineering knowledge
  3. get to attend free talks by IES speakers so as to widen their experience
  4. get to participate in visits to the industry, to enhance their industry know-how
  5. receive free guidance on career opportunities for ENG graduates
  6. be awarded the Associate IES (AIES) certificate plus their engineering diploma on Graduation Day
  7. be given free Associate IES membership upon graduation.
    -- The normal entrance fee of $100 & annual fee of $160 will be waived
    for 2 years (for graduates joining NS), or 6 months (for others).
What is the IES?

The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) was established on July 1966 as the national society of engineers in Singapore.
Corporate Membership of IES signifies recognition of engineering experience & accomplishments. IES maintains close links with professional organisations of engineers throughout the world, including Australia, China, Japan, UK & US
