LTT is the first training agency worldwide to be approved under the rules of EASA Part 147. In addition LTT and its affiliates are certified also by numerous other national authorities (such as CAA of UK, CAAS of Singapore, and CAAC of China).
Unlike other aircraft training institutes, LTT offers not only type-rated training (for all Boeing and Airbus aircraft types), but has vast experience also in basic training and not type-related advanced training (such as structural repairs, avionics, human factors, aviation legislation).
LTT Training Centres worldwide:
LTT has a workforce of 280 employees in Germany plus another 40 staff in branch offices throughout the world. An additional 150 staff are working in joint venture companies belonging to the LTT network. LTT has affiliates in the United Kingdom, in Chile, in Taiwan and in the Philippines. These training centres provide an excellent proof of concept for the intended business concept in Haikou, and reflect the capability of LTT.
In 2005, LTT instructors delivered a total of 18,000 training days in type-rated and other advanced training courses. In addition roughly 900 trainees received classroom and workshop training to qualify for the EASA Part-66 Cat. A certification.
