PRO-E Award 2005
Engineering students clinched 3 awards at the Pro-Engineer design competition held at the SP Auditorium on 9 March 2005.

Improving on last year's performance, the students won a total of 1 Gold, 1 Silver and a Consolation award.

Temasek Engineering School emerged 1st runner-up in the annual Pro-Engineer (Singapore) 2004, a designing competition for users of the software, Pro-Engineer.

The team submitted a design of "Perkasa", the Malaysian high-speed patrol boat that operates in the tropical region. Powered by a gas turbine engine, the vessel belongs to the "Brave" class, and is known for its nimble mobility.

The students walked away with $500 worth of HP vouchers.

PRO-E Award 2003


The Jukalu Robots

Temasek Engineering students clinched 3rd place in the annual PRO-E (Singapore) competition 2003.

The team, comprising 4 students hailing from Myanmar, impressed judges with their design of the Jukalu Robot, and took home Hewlett Packard vouchers worth $200. The presentation ceremony was held at Singapore Polytechnic on 19 March 2003.

PRO-E Award 2002


The "Space Shuttle Columbia" design which won 2nd prize

Temasek Engineering students with their prize-booty at the competition.

Temasek Engineering students clinched 2nd and 3rd spots in the annual PRO-E (Singapore) competition held on 23 Jan 2002. It is a Computer Aided Design (CAD) competition for users of the software, "Pro-Engineer".

Yashin, Latiff and Chee Chong took 2nd place with their design of the "Space Shuttle Columbia". They won about $900 worth of HP products.

The "Team Battle Bots" designed by Yeung Chua, Tze Shiung and Thiam Foo earned them 3rd place and about $240 worth of HP products.

The students will represent Temasek Engineering School to take part in the Pro-E (ASEAN) Competition to be held in Malaysia in October 2002.


PRO-E Award 2001


For the 2nd year running, Temasek Engineering School has won the PRO-E (ASEAN) Award. The competition was held in July, and the prize presentation ceremony was held during the ASEAN Pro-Engineers' users' conference held at Mines Resort in Selangor from 26th--28 July 2001.

The Temasek Engineering students won hands down with their design entitled "FRIENDSHIP", beating participants from other educational institutions including universities in ASEAN, Singpaore Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic and foreign universities from ASEAN countries.

This is the 3rd such competition, which is organised by PTC, the manufacturer of the software, Pro/Engineer.

PRO-E Award 2000

In the PRO-E (ASEAN) Competition 2000, Temasek Engineering School also came out top. Product Engineering student Ronnie Sng Kian Chye, (formerly from Springfield Sec School) trounced his rivals, including established teams from the other Polytechnics, NUS and NTU, with his immaculate re-creation of the Japanese robot, "GUNDAM".

He received his trophy at the ASEAN Pro-Engineers' users' conference held at the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel, Malaysia, from 20--22 July 2000.
