Virtual Instrumentation Applications

The Virtual Instrumentation Applications is a technical paper contest that showcases the most innovative user applications based on NI software and hardware. It is organised by National Instruments Inc., in conjunction with their annual NI Week held in August 2006.


Virtual Instrumentation Applications Contest 2006

A technical paper by three students from Temasek Engineering School's Diploma in Mechatronics, earned an Honorary Mention (Academic Category) in the Virtual Instrumentation Applications competition 2006.

Their paper is entitled "Process Control and Monitoring on Gas Supply for Fuel Cell Stacks Using LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module".

The competition saw a total of 17 local and 31 foreign tertiary institutions and reserach institutes taking part. Temasek Polytechnic was the only Polytechnic which among the winners.
