NATIONAL WEBSITE DESIGN COMPETITION

Organised by the National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) Council and supported by the British High Commission,
this competition is open to youths aged 15 to 25 years, to mark Commonwealth Day.

Participants design a website based on a given theme, (which in 2008 was "The Environment, Our Future")
and focus on the significance of the Commonwealth and its mission in achieving that theme.

Students from Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Info-Communications won a Gold and a Consolation Award in the National Website Design Competition 2008.

The students' website designs, which was based on the theme "Climate Change", impressed the judges for their both their design and content.

The students received their awards from the British High Commissioner to Singapore, His Excellency Mr Paul Madden, at a presentation ceremony held on 18 March 2008 at Eden Hall, official residence of His Excellency.
